For BSc (Hons) in Data Science students — Semester GPA, yearly GPA and your Final GPA (FGPA) using the Faculty of Computing GPA formulas (Student Handbook 2023/24, pp. 90–92). Future GPA scenarios and simulated class probabilities are estimates, not official predictions. Marks are imported by the batch admin from provisional result sheets.

🎓 Year GPA = Σ(credit × grade point) ÷ credits · FGPA = 0.2·GPA₁ + 0.2·GPA₂ + 0.3·GPA₃ + 0.3·GPA₄ · First Class ≥ 3.70 · Upper 2nd 3.30–3.69 · Lower 2nd 2.70–3.29 · Pass 2.00–2.69
Handbook pp. 90–92: final FGPA is rounded to two decimals on completion. Degree completion requires at least D in every credited GPA course and FGPA ≥ 2.00. Repeat exams are capped at C; successful repeats replace previous lower grades. Use the officially awarded repeat grade, not an uncapped grade inferred from marks.

📜 Official grade scale (Faculty of Computing)

Non-GPA courses (Communication Skills, Academic Integrity, General/Academic English, Business English) don't count into the GPA.
